Established in 1967 in Wettingen, Switzerland, XORELLA is specialized in design and manufacturing of steam setting and conditioning equipment for yarns and fabrics. XORELLA became rapidly known in the global textile industry for its innovative indirect steaming system that was incorporated in textile mills using the XORELLA® Yarn Conditioning system.
In 1991, the XORELLA® yarn conditioning equipment with a "Robotex" automatic loading system for flow-through operation was launched. Leading yarn spinners, textile institutes, and experts recognize that the XORELLA® process enhances yarn quality, which leads to increased productivity in the fabric formation processes and eventually improved quality of the garment products.
In 1995, a patented new link system and an automatic overhead door design followed. In 1999, a rectangular machine for Euro-pallets and the patented "ECO" energy saving system was ready to enter successfully the market.
In 2002, the founder and owner of XORELLA® sold his company to Fong's Industries Co., Ltd. For this, the Group formed Xorella Hong Kong Ltd. to acquire Xorella AG, Wettingen (CH).
The move marked a further step toward diversification and also underlined the Group's strategy for providing a "one stop shop service" to the textile industry. At Xorella AG, there are around 15 specialists taking care of Engineering, design and R&D for the company. Due to Xorella AG's advanced technology and the Group's extensive customer network and sophisticated production facilities in Europe and China, the patented indirect steaming system from the recognized market leader is now applied in more than 50 countries worldwide.
At the ITMA 2007, XORELLA® launched the new XO-series XO-SMART and XO-SELECT.
